National Pet Dental Health - a Review
Have you ever thought that this is the month of national pet dental health? Yess…your pet’s dental health is more important as it is for you. At least this month show some interest towards the dental health of your dog.
Dr. Henry Childers, DVM president of AVMA said “The most frequently diagnosed health problem of dogs is oral disease”. Most of the dog owners are not aware that that dental health care is important to maintaining the overall health and well-being of the family pet.
Some of the researchers confirm that periodontitis is the indicative of other health disorders like bacterial pneumonia, stroke, hepatitis, and cardiovascular disease.
If you have controlled the plaque effectively, then a large percentage of pet periodontitis cases can be prevented.
